The Wahoo is the considered to be the fastest fish in the Atlantic. On the Lisa D we catch a lot of Wahoo offshore in Ft. Lauderdale. We catch most of the Wahoo off the coast of Fort Lauderdale during the months of August and September. Most of the Wahoo will be 20 to 40 pounds but it is not unheard of to catch monster 60 pounders. The Wahoo bite off the Bahama Bank during the winter months is as good as it gets anywhere in the world.
